Am I surprised to see Karen spotlighted, nope! Anything this woman puts her mind to gets done. She makes sure she gets her facts straight and is meticulous with the details. A constant defender of the truth she makes certain that rules and procedures put into place are followed and will be the first to speak up if injustice occurs. Keep up the great work lady!

Karen is my life long best-friend! We grew up together on the Children’s Home here in Winston-Salem,NC. It was there we learned alot about life(good and bad) at an early age. She’s always had her sense of humor,smile, and tenacity for life.We learned early on to take care of ourselves and be strong.That folks, if you really know her, she is…….smart too!!! Love you Girl!

I also have know Karen for at least 8 years thanks to the Army and she is and will always be my life long friend – Vicki says it well we are Sister’s and she is such a special person they do not make people like her any more!!
